Q. The spreadsheet that I need to convert includes 2 columns that contain multiple lines (i.e. wrapped text) for recording customer comments.
When I convert the file these columns are truncated and only the first +- 260 characters are written to the ".csv" file.
Is there any way to get the full contents of these cells?
A. You need to select "MEMO fields" option (Tools - Options- General).
Q. I have tried your ABC Amber Excel converter. The xls-to-dbf function may fulfill part of our business process.
However, after the conversion to dbf (dBase), the column names were lost. Is there way to specify the first row
of an Excel file to be the column name of the generated dBase file?
A. Uncheck "A-B-C-D-E-F columns" option and open xls file again.
